Consul General Gao Yanping Meets with the President and CEO of the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, Texas

On January 14, 2010, Consul General Gao Yanping met with Mark Nerenhausen, President and CEO of the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, Texas.

President Nerenhausen said, Dallas has a diversified culture. The AT&T Performing Arts Center is renowned for its advanced facilities and art standard state-widely and nation-widely. The people of Dallas and himself admire the long history of Chinese civilization and the splendid culture. President Nerenhausen expressed his warm welcome to more Chinese performing arts groups to visit Dallas and his willingness to actively engage in the promotion of the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Dallas.

 

Consul General Gao said, the enhancement of culture exchanges and cooperation is conducive to the mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and the United States. China has many first-class arts performing groups. As the famous performing arts in the U.S., the AT&T Performing Arts Center has great potentials in cooperation with China. The Chinese Consulate General would like to work closely with the AT&T Performing Arts Center to boost more mutual visits and cultural exchanges between China and Dallas.
